Finding Your Way Through Travel↓ Many of the journeys I’ve taken in life have been to explore the unknown regions of the world. And, like many of you I’d imagine, that’s the perfect reason to hop on a plane and venture into the great unknown. That exploration has been the fuel to my fire of life. It is the essence of who I am in the world. I thrive when surrounded by newness in my day to day. Recently however, life has thrown me some challenging situations… relationships have ended, friendships have dissolved and I’ve found myself in a place of a different exploration. Some may call this a midlife crisis. I simply call it a time of deep self-reflection. Sometimes slowly and with resistance (as a Capricorn I can be VERY stubborn!), and sometimes with lightning speed, I have chiseled away the parts of me I no longer wish to carry around. I have created an intentional life and made space for the things I cherish. And can I just say, letting go of the things that no longer serve the person who I am today has seriously lightened my load. As a traveler, that’s a fantastic bonus.😉 I’ve found that my reason for travel has changed. It’s no longer about ticking the boxes or trying something new just for the sake of it. It’s about the ways I can contribute to the world through my journeys. I consider how I can give back to the communities I visit, the people around me, and this beautiful planet we call home. I ask myself, how am I contributing to the betterment of our world? I consider the world my future grandchildren will inherit. In so many ways, the message of this week’s podcast mirrors that journey. Weekly EpisodeJamie Edwards is the visionary behind the beautiful travel website titled ‘I am Lost and Found’. In this episode we explore the transformative power of travel, its impact on children, and the art of crafting compelling narratives that transport listeners to far-flung destinations. Jamie shares wonderful insights on finding your voice, creating a visually stunning website, and inspiring others to embark on their own adventures. Jamie’s story is beautifully told. Make sure to tune in. It’s like a soothing balm to cool your soul. Kim |

I certainly have many things to celebrate (hello, you!) and other things that I’m more than happy to leave behind. Let’s just say the learning curve of the last couple of years has been steep. But, through it all, I’m happy to be ringing in this new year with gladness. Annnnd, I not only get to ring in a new calendar year this...
Design Her Travel December 18th | Ep. 6 Home for the Holidays✨ ↓ If you’re anything like me, the beauty of the holiday season can easily get buried underneath the hustle and bustle of gatherings, gifts, and general life to-do lists. Throw in the desire (aka self-induced pressure) to wrap up the current year and begin welcoming the next. Then, add in kids home from school, the need for downtime and relaxation, and well, it can all feel a little overwhelming. One of my greatest lessons for 2023...
