Home for the Holidays✨↓ If you’re anything like me, the beauty of the holiday season can easily get buried underneath the hustle and bustle of gatherings, gifts, and general life to-do lists. Throw in the desire (aka self-induced pressure) to wrap up the current year and begin welcoming the next. Then, add in kids home from school, the need for downtime and relaxation, and well, it can all feel a little overwhelming. One of my greatest lessons for 2023 has been ‘done is better than perfect'. This is the mantra I repeat when I see space for improvement in something I’ve created or feel the need to do just a little more. In those moments, I recognize that it’s just my ego attempting to dress in a cloak of perfection - which really should be called the cloak of impossibility. Because let’s face it, perfection isn’t even real. It’s an elusive ideology that keeps us from moving toward our dreams. It’s an ideology that holds us back. Through this acceptance and in a practice of grace, the Design Her Travel team will be taking a break for the rest of the year. We have chosen to create a little space and allow ourselves to put down the to-dos to take time to enjoy the most important parts of life - our friends and family. Don't worry, I’ll be back here in 2024. 🥳 Until then, we’ll be dropping two episodes to finish out the year. Make sure to tune in to our short & sweet Holiday Episode that drops on Tuesday, Dec. 19th. The final episode of 2023 will drop on Dec. 26th and is an encore episode with Jason Robinson of the Nomad Experiment. Weekly Episode:Jason is a wonderful example of redefining life. He started a life of full-time travel at the age of 40 (having only been to 3 countries prior) AND following a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes. My favorite part of Jason’s story is the way he took a stand for his own life and the dreams he harbored. In the episode, he shares the step-by-step process he used to become comfortable enough to live his biggest dreams. His story is full of wisdom we can all apply in life. Tune in to his episode on Dec. 26th. It's the perfect guide to use when designing your 2024 goals and desires. My hope for each of you during this holiday season is that you too are surrounded by loved ones. May you find a little time to reflect on the gift of life and the lessons, accomplishments, and conversations that have led you here. I am deeply grateful you've chosen to join me on this journey. May you each be and share the greatest gift of all this holiday season - Love. 💝 With gladness and a joyful heart, Kim |

Design Her Travel December 12th | Ep. 5 Finding Your Way Through Travel ↓ Many of the journeys I’ve taken in life have been to explore the unknown regions of the world.
